The guide details 11 sailings in
total, operating in both English
and the line’s native German.
Over the course of the season,
expeditions will take pax to both
polar regions, the South Seas,
Chilean Fjords & Amazon, with
departures running from Nov
2015 to May 2017.
The ship returns to the fabled
Northeast Passage, repeating
a voyage undertaken in 2014
where it became the first non-
Russian ship to reach the most
northern point of the Passage.
Highlights include being able
to visit the world’s oldest and
permanently inhabited research
station in the Arctic.
Pax on Amazon departures will
also benefit from learnings of
river experts familiar with the
local wildlife and ecosystems.

tour commentary, lectures,
menus and announcements.
