Following the opening of its inaugural Sydney office, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) has appointed specialist travel and lifestyle PR and communications agency Anne Wild & Associates (AWA) to implement an integrated public relations campaign for the company’s three distinct brands in Australia and New Zealand: Norwegian Cruise Lines, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
The agency’s remit will include trade and consumer media relations, a dedicated media familiarisation program and a series of signature events and partnerships.
NCLH Managing Director (Australia and New Zealand) Steve Odell said: “We’re delighted to be working with AWA to drive sales and heighten awareness of our market-leading brands across the region. We were incredibly impressed with AWA’s competitive pitch last month and we can’t wait to work together to build our presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets.”
The new partnership builds upon the success of AWA’s expanding Travel and Lifestyle division, with Managing Director Anne Wild saying: “We’re thrilled to represent NCLH and to introduce greater numbers of local travellers to one of the world’s leading cruise line operators. It’s no secret the regional cruising market is growing rapidly, with savvy cruise fans seeking fresh operators with new vessels and itineraries to broaden their opportunities to explore the world by sea – and NCLH’s portfolio of leading cruise brands will enable us to do just that.”
Established in 1998, AWA is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) Registered Consultancies Group and the Australian Society of Travel Writers, and is the Australian and New Zealand agency member of the Travel Lifestyle Network – a network of more than 21 specialist travel and lifestyle communications consultancies worldwide.
