One of the world’s biggest and boldest broadcasts at sea is underway with Hamish and Andy departing on “The People’s Cruise” onboard Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Spirit.
The fun-loving radio presenters got straight into the cruising spirit enjoying some sailaway cocktails from Carnival’s trademark novelty puffer fish cups in the adults-only Serenity area and scoping out Green Thunder, the fastest and steepest waterslide at sea.
Ensuring it’s all for fun and fun for all, the duo has been joined by more than 100 listeners onboard Carnival Spirit and began their five-day broadcast at sea with the “People’s Show” going live from the ship’s deck in Sydney Harbour yesterday.
With Hamish joining the cruise with only the clothes on his back, guests have been generously donating to his wardrobe including a pair of bespoke balloon thongs decorated during a craft session onboard.
Hamish and Andy also received great cruise tips from Carnival’s Diamond VIFPs (Very Important Fun People) Mark and Leanne Weston who have cruised on Carnival Spirit dozens of times.
