its berthing capacity increased
with Federal Minister for
Tourism Senator Richard Colbeck
announcing $400,000 will go
towards the upgrade of the
mooring bollards.
“This project will support jobs
and growth in the Hunter region,
increasing its capacity to host
large cruise ships and therefore
allowing more passengers to visit
the region,” Colbeck said.
Funding is part of the Australian
Government’s Tourism Demand
Driver Infrastructure program.
