PRINCESS Cruises has
confirmed its Pacific Princess will
return to service on Fri after an
incident in Nice in which its hull
was damaged.
The ship has been out of
action since 14 Oct when it hit
a breakwater on arrival at the
French port, damaging the hull
below the waterline.
No-one was injured in the
incident, which was attributed to
an unexpected wind change.
Princess was forced to cancel
a planned departure from
Barcelona, however the ship is
now ready to sail from Romeβs
port of Civitavecchia after
completing repairs.
