AS MONTREAL’S cruise season draws to a close, the Canadian city is celebrating positive results.
Around 90,000 passengers and crew members were welcomed to the port this year, injecting around CA$23m into the local economy though tourist spend.
During the season, sixteen international vessels arrived for a total of 38 stops at the temporary cruise terminal located in Eastern Montreal and at the McKay pier in Old Montreal.
Pax are primarily American (72%), Australian (8.5%), Canadian (7.5%) & English (4.5%).
