ITALIAN shipbuilder Fincantieri has announced an offer to buy the remainder of shares in Norwegian-headquartered shipbuilder Vard Holdings for up to $118 million. The move would see Vard delisted from the Singapore Stock Exchange, with Fincantieri increasing its existing stake of 55.6% to a minimum 90%.
