ROYAL Caribbean Cruises will raise its daily recommended gratuities for all passengers departing from today – but not for Australian passengers.
Added automatically to pax bills, the recommended gratuity will jump to US$14.50 from US$13.50 for travellers in standard rooms on RCI and Celebrity ships.
Guests in RCI suites will see an increase of US$1 to $17.50, while Celebrity Cruises will rise to US$18 for suites.
The move does not affect Royal Caribbean or Celebrity cruise fares sold in Australia, which already include prepaid gratutities.
