Princess Cruises to implement Ocean Medallion across its fleet.
Princess Cruises has just confirmed its global fleet will feature the MedallionClass Experience when it gains approval to return to service in 2021.
The wearable technology allows touchless embarkation and disembarkation, keyless stateroom entry, payments, on-demand F&B and location-based gaming and wagering, and works in conjunction with MedallionNet high-speed internet connectivity.
During the cruise pause Princess has continued to transform its ships, withย Coral Princess, Diamond Princess, Emerald Princess, Grand Princess, Island Princess, Majestic Princess and Sapphire Princess to all return as MedallionClass ships, along with the new Enchanted Princess.
Princess Cruises President Jan Swartz said “innovation is allowing us to pair guidance from public health experts with the unparalleled touch-free capabilities of the Ocean Medallion honouring our commitment to health and safety, while continuing to reinvent and simplify the experience all together”.
