PONANT has confirmed Australia is excepted from its vaccination protocol (CW yesterday), as the cruise line’s Kimberley season (CW 02 Mar) is restricted to Australian residents only.
Instead, local requirements will be applied in accordance with Australia’s “current vaccination schedule”, with a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours before boarding.
Ponant said requiring COVID vaccinations on all itineraries (apart from Australia and NZ voyages) would continue the consolidation of its anti-COVID bubble on board and provide the “best possible travel conditions”.
