ROYAL Caribbean International’s Icon of the Seas reached a milestone in its construction earlier this month, floating on water for the first time.
With 58 million gallons of water, five tugboats, and one cannon shot, Icon was floated out of her dry dock and into her outfitting pier at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, where the final stages of construction will be completed.
