Carnival Legend has received a warm welcome back to Australia, arriving in Sydney yesterday morning for her second summer of cruising down under.
The Carnival Cruise Line superliner will carry an estimated 50,000 holidaymakers on 21 cruises between now and April, as she joins her full-time Australian-based sister ship Carnival Spirit cruising from Sydney.
Carnival Cruise Line Vice President Australia Jennifer Vandekreeke said the same crew who Aussie guests had come to know and love last summer, had returned with the ship.
“With the jacarandas in full bloom and the sun shining, Sydney really turned it on for Carnival Legend’s return. We’re so excited to have Carnival Legend back for the summer and know the crew are thrilled to be cruising from Sydney again,” Ms Vandekreeke said.
