A new smartphone application released by Copenhagen Malmo Port (CMP) is helping cruise tourists navigate the destination.
Providing a personalised guide and interactive map, ‘Cruise City’ features attractions, experiences, restaurants, and events, based on the user’s ship, interests, and time on shore.
The free app also highlights sustainable and eco-friendly choices, promoting the use of public transport, bicycles and walking, while helping to avoid congestion around sights.
It is continuously updated and carefully curated with sights, experiences, events, and tips & tricks specifically for cruise guests’ needs, based on ratings, reviews and recommendations from users.
“Cruise City is built to view the city with the eyes of a cruise passenger, that struggles with limited time, city navigation and way too many possibilities to find the best choices of their stay,” said CMP’s Cruise Sales Director Henrik Ahlqvist.
