| CW breaking news – Cruise Traveller to take on American Queen Steamboat Company and Victory Cruise Lines

Cruise Office set to wind down operations by the end of the year. 

The exclusive Australian representation for American Queen Steamboat Company (AQSC) and Victory Cruise Lines (VCL) is set to transfer to Cruise Traveller effective from next Monday 01 April, with current GSA Cruise Office confirming it would “wind down its business over the next eight months”.

Cruise Traveller MD Craig Bowen said all current terms and promotional support with agents and wholesalers would continue unaltered, with AQSC 2020 bookings to open for sale next week through Cruise Traveller. VCL 2020 will go on sale on 01 May, he confirmed.

Current deposited and fully-paid FIT or group 2019 departure bookings will continue to be processed by Cruise Office, which will also support Cruise Traveller as it introduces new websites, information and reservation systems.

“I sincerely thank all agents and agencies for their enthusiastic support over the years, in making it possible to introduce and successfully grow those cruise lines we have represented in Australia,” said Cruise Office’s David Bunn. “We know AQSC/VCL will now enjoy their next phase of their growth in this market with Cruise Traveller.”

Bunn said Voyages to Antiquity’s Aegean Odyssey had also been chartered on a long-term basis to an American tour company, meaning Cruise Office would also no longer represent Voyages to Antiquity.
