The announcement came as New South Wales also plans to drops all quarantine requirements and caps for inbound vaccinated arrivals from next month.
New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet has said the state is in discussions “right now” with the Australian Government about relaunching the cruise industry.
Perrottet said his predecessor Gladys Berejiklian had already been in talks with Prime Minister Scott Morrison about the issue, which he has carried on with.
“I am very on board with that,” Perrottet said.
