Australian operations team to be assembled by Hurtigruten.
Norwegian-based cruise line Hurtigruten has announced it will be placing a greater emphasis on the local market by opening a dedicated Australian office.
The expansion plan will see a sales, marketing and operations team recruited locally, and follows Hurtigruten establishing a local .com.au website recently.
The cruise line said one factor motivating the move is Australian customers’ strong affinity for sustainability, with strong growth predicted locally.
