New 500-cabin ships to be delivered starting from 2023.
MSC Cruises has just confirmed orders for four new vessels from Italian shipyard Fincantieri, building on the success of its MSC Yacht Club “ship-within-a-ship” concept.
Described by MSC Cruises Australia Managing Director, Lynne Clarke as “as close as it comes to a private yacht experience,” the new ships will have 500 cabins and offer local guests an even wider choice of five-star experiences in the highest segment of the market.
MSC Cruises Executive Chairman, Pierfrancesco Vago, said the ships would be able to offer unique itineraries thanks to their smaller size, while “the guest services will be taken to another level”. He said the newbuilds would showcase highly innovative design, the latest environmental technology and “ground-breaking options for guest comfort and relaxation”.
The first of the ultra-luxury ships will be delivered in 2023, with the following three on an annual basis over the following years.
