Avora will be the second residential line to agree to a charter of the vessel.
Luxury residential cruise brand Avora Residences has acquired Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Navigator, which it will rename Avora Lumina.
The vessel will debut for Avora in January 2028 under a nine-year charter with a nominal purchase option arrangement.
Lumina will undergo a full residential conversion, with planned upgrades including personalisation and residential enhancements, reimagined common spaces optimised for long-term living, and a dedicated business and global connectivity centre designed to support extended voyages.
Another start-up residential cruise line, Crescent Seas, initially agreed to acquire Navigator in March, before dropping the charter deal in November.
Navigator has a number of cruises scheduled to sail in Australia over the coming seasons, with her last local voyages currently set to take place in 2027.
