Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Azamara and Silversea sailings suspended worldwide.
Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited has confirmed it will voluntarily cease operations for all sailings worldwide, with the aim of resuming operations on 11 April 2020.
The company had previously announced the cessation of voyages departing from US ports, but is now citing “global public health circumstances” for the decision to extend the suspension.
Royal Caribbean International sailings currently under way will continue as planned, and the brand is providing a 125% future cruise credit valid until 31 December 2021, while any pre-purchased amenities will be automatically refunded. Passengers can also receive a full refund if they prefer.
“We know, this too shall pass, and we are optimistic that very soon you’ll be excited about planning your next cruise vacation,” the company told customers.
