CRUISE specialist ecruising.travel has just released its 2017 ‘Alaskan Skies, Rocky Mountain Highs’ cruise tour which includes an Alaskan cruise, Rocky Mountaineer rail journey and a ground tour of the Canadian Rockies.
The 20-night package departs on September 12, 2017 and begins with a three night stay in Seattle before boarding Celebrity Solstice for a seven night cruise visiting Ketchikan, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway, the Alaska Inside Passage and Victoria, British Columbia before arriving in Vancouver.

After a full day of sightseeing in the mountain resort village of Whistler, board the Rocky Mountaineer to travel on a two day journey show casing some of the most spectacular scenery Canada has to offer. Begin your rail travel through Fraser Valley and Canyon and along Thompson River before arriving in Kamloops for an overnight stay. On the second day let the Rocky Mountaineer take you through the spectacular Rocky Mountains before reaching Banff in the evening.
You will spend the next five days travelling around the Rockies with fully escorted coach sightseeing tours including a Yoho National Park and a half-day tour of Banff with a Gondola ride, a tour with Ice Explorer on the surface of Athabasca Glacier at the Columbia Icefield, Lake Louise and a day in Calgary.
The cruise tour is priced from $12,439 per person twin share, and includes return economy airfares from Australia with air taxes (prices vary from capital cities), seven nights cruise accommodation with all main meals, 13 nights premium hotel accommodation (including the historic Fairmont Hotels in Banff, Lake Louise and Calgary) two days travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer in Silver Leaf class including breakfast and lunch, transportation in Canada with an escort/guide and selected sightseeing, daily breakfast during the land tour in Canada, transfers and port charges and government taxes.
