Newly upgraded ship, the G Expedition, 90% booked for the coming season
G Adventures’ Antarctic expeditions ship the G Expedition is already at 90% capacity for the coming season with the small group adventure travel company encouraging travellers to act quickly to secure the last spots.
Spaces on board the G Expedition have sold quickly and this year there are limited spaces left for travellers to tick off the bucket-list destination. There is capacity for 1,400 travellers to sail on board the G Expedition to Antarctica each year, with 12 separate expeditions ranging from 11 to 22 days.
Adrian Piotto, Managing Director G Adventures Australia and New Zealand, says he is excited by sales numbers for the upcoming Antarctic season after a very successful 2016 season.
“The G Expedition is currently making its way to Montevideo for the beginning of the Antarctic season. With recent upgrades giving travellers more shore time and a full team of Antarctic experts, travellers are in for the trip of a lifetime,” he said.
“Antarctica has long been popular with travellers from Australia and New Zealand because of the stunning natural wonders the region has to offer. On board the G Expedition travellers have the benefit of seeing the breathtaking scenery in comfort, with G Adventures’ team of expert expedition guides there to provide a greater understanding of the area.”
