| Journey’s first Aussie call

AZAMARA Journey made her maiden Australian call yesterday, arriving in Darwin sporting a fresh multi-million dollar makeover.

“We are very excited to be welcoming Azamara Journey to Australia for the first time,” said Adam Armstrong, md, Azamara Club Cruises Australia & NZ.

“She is a completely new ship compared to her sister Azamara Quest who made her debut last summer, after a $25 million make over in Apr.”

The 690-guest vessel departed Darwin at 9pm last night, continuing her 18-night Singapore to Sydney sailing.

Azamara Journey will call at Thursday Island, Port Douglas, Cairns and Townsville before making her debut in Sydney on Sun 19 Feb.
