NORWEGIAN Cruise Line was forced to cancel Pride of America’s planned call in the Hawaiian town of Kailua-Kona last Wed due to poor air quality amid the ongoing Kilauea volcano eruption in lower Puna. The cancellation cost Kona an estimated US$175,000 in lost tourism spend.
