A waterfront parcel of land in Juneau has been donated by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) to the Alaska-native owned Huna Totem Corporation.
It is planned for the parcel to be converted to a new pier with preferential berthing rights for NCLH cruise lines, as well as a welcome centre, which will provide a significant boost to the local economy.
Huna Totem is expecting to submit plans for the year-round facility before the end of 2022.
