NORWEGIAN Cruise Line has marked the start of construction for its newest ship and revealed it will be called Norwegian Encore.
The latest addition to the fleet will sail weekly itineraries to the Caribbean departing Miami from the North American autumn 2019.
The name was unveiled at a celebration at Meyer Werft Laser Centre in Germany.
Due for delivery on 31 Oct 2019, Norwegian Encore will be the 17th ship in the Norwegian fleet and the line’s fourth and final ship in the Breakaway Plus Class.
Encore will have capacity for 4,000 guests and will feature several interactive experiences that will be revealed in coming months.
The ship will be available for reservations from next month.
