TODAY’S issue of Cruise Weekly is coming to you courtesy of Viking, aboard the brand new Viking Polaris.
Viking Polaris is currently gliding her way back to South America across the Drake Passage, with plenty of activities available on board.
Guests interested in wildlife can participate in scientific studies such as bird counts and analysing water samples, while there has also been an opportunity to help prepare BRUVS (Baited Remote Underwater Video Systems) for the next cruise.
Polaris will remain in Antarctic waters until Apr, with a total of eight polar voyages scheduled.
