TODAY’S issue of CW is coming to you courtesy of Viking, aboard the brand new Viking Octantis.

The last transit port on our Great Lakes Journey sees Viking Octantis spend a day at Michigan’s charming Mackinac Island, where horse-drawn carriages traverse car-free streets in front of well-preserved Victorian-era homes.

Activity options here include kayaking, taking a carriage ride, or simply strolling the streets and taking in the ambience.

We then wrap up our journey in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Octantis turns around with a new complement of passengers to head north again.
