P&O Cruises took the glitz and glamour of the Gatsby era to Newcastle last weekend for the Hunter Travel Group’s special cruise expo that drew thousands of interested potential cruise travellers.
P&O Cruises New South Wales Business Development Managers Angus Mackay and Jess O’Brien (pictured) embraced the P&O Cruises’ Gatsby theme on the day and answered many questions about fleet newcomers Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden.
“There were thousands there on the day,” said Angus. “It was a big day devoted completely to cruise with all forms of cruising represented.
“People were very specific about what they wanted. We had the Pacific Eden fly-through video playing and people were very knowledgeable about the November 25 Salute to Sydney by the five P&O ships,” Mr Mackay said.
“There were also quite a lot of new-to-cruise people who had a fair idea of what they were looking for, after speaking to friends and family about their cruise holiday experiences.”
To complete the Gatsby theme, Angus and Jess had a Moet cooler on hand with a bottle of ‘almost Moet’ champagne to complete the look.
