A “miniboat” made by students in the United States has made its way to England, 10 months after she first set sail in the Atlantic.
Three Rhode Island schools contributed to the project, dubbing the boat Inspiration.
Setting sail with GPS trackers, the boat contained information about Central Falls (the town she originated from), and about the schools, and the children who helped build it.
The boat eventually made landfall in Christchurch, England, where students at a local school made contact with those who had launched her.
