WHEN a person signs up to be a part of the Australian Defence Force, we’re wondering how many have the premonition that one day they will be inspecting the hull of a cruise ship for security purposes?
But that’s exactly what a crack team of Aussie military divers did recently underneath Pacific Jewel, with the vessel currently serving as floating accommodation for important attendees of the APEC Summit in Papua New Guinea.
We’re not entirely sure what they were looking for down there, perhaps it’s classified, but whatever the reason we’re just happy the ADF is tweeting about our wonderful cruise sector.
