ALTHOUGH his days of standing to attention are long over, a retired United States Army service dog has just earned “VIFP” status with Carnival Cruise Line.
The 14-year-old Malinoius named Sarge (pictured below with his best friend Justin), joined the top ranks of Carnival’s “Very Important Fun Person” loyalty club recently aboard Carnival Celebration – although in this case, “p” could stand for “puppy”.
Sarge reached Diamond status aboard his latest cruise, which was his 55th.
He has spent more than 200 nights at sea.
