DIVERS may have discovered the ultimate reason to show some restraint at the cruise buffet after surmising a group of shifting cows probably led to the abrupt sinking of a 90-year-old steam boat.
The wreck was located on the bed of the North American Lake Huron, and records show that 115 cows and one bull were loaded onto the boat from Canada’s Manitoulin Island before it sank east of Michigan’s Drummond Island.
It is believed that the herd caused the ship to capsize after all moving to one side of the ship at once – so just make sure when you and the fam stock up, try to move in different directions.
