THE US coast guard called off a search for a woman who is believed to have gone overboard from Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 after it departed from New York just before Christmas.
The 74-year-old passenger was reported missing about 100 nautical miles southeast of Atlantic City as the ship cruised towards the Caribbean, with Cunard’s care team “offering every support to the family”.
